Pat Dunphy, managing attorney at Cannon & Dunphy S.C. and founder of the Dunphy Family Fund, was recently mentioned in the Greater Milwaukee Foundation Annual Report. The report detailed the ways to help end homelessness by putting housing first. The Dunphy Family Fund consistently gives back to basic needs agencies. Mr. Dunphy is also a board member for the Guest House of Milwaukee, a case management provider for Housing First.
The plan is to provide a home for the homeless to help them transition using private funding for the outreach. Donors from Greater Milwaukee Foundation invested $50,000 to help make this dream a reality.
