Commercial Litigation
Commercial litigation involves claims for
economic losses occasioned by the wrongful conduct of a person
or business. Such claims typically involve breaches of contract,
interference with contractual rights, and misrepresentations by
persons or businesses exchanging personal, real, or intellectual
property. However, such claims may arise under a wide array of
circumstances--for example, during the lease or sale of real
estate, the transfer of a business, or the fulfillment of a
production or service contract. Whatever the circumstance,
commercial litigation generally is procedurally and
substantively complex and hard-fought by the defense. As such,
it is important to discuss your potential case with a lawyer who
is experienced in this area of the law.
