Just last week, three teens died when the vehicle they were in slammed into the back of a semi truck that was stopped on I-94.
According to officials, a 17-year-old and a 16-year-old died on the scene. The driver, also a 17-year-old, died from his injuries yesterday. A fourth passenger received minor injuries.
The Wisconsin State Patrol said the teens were trying to get the attention of another driver who had just passed them. One of the occupants had unbuckled his seat belt to find a paper.
